Couple found hanging at Sinamangal hotel

A couple was found hanging at a hotel in Sinamangal on Sunday.

According to the Metropolitan Police Circle, Gaushala, Ramesh Majhi (34) and a woman aged 26 were found dead in the same room of the Janmabhumi Hotel on the way to Prakash Sanyas Ashram this morning.

Preliminary investigation of the police suggests that they may have committed suicide.

They were found hanging with a shawl from the railing of the veranda in front of room no. 120.

Police said that the couple had reached the hotel at around 7 pm on Saturday.

Further investigation into the incident is underway, said police.
