Govt allocates Rs 4.28 billion for Labor Ministry
The government has allocated Rs 4.28 billion for the Ministry of Labor, Employment and Social Security.
Presenting the budget for the fiscal year in the joint meeting of the Federal Parliament, Finance Minister Bishnu Paudel informed that Rs 4.28 billion has been allocated for the Labor Ministry.
Govt to provide land certificates to 500, 000 citizens
The government is to provide land certificates to 500,000 citizens.
Presenting the budget for the fiscal year 2025/26 in the joint meeting of the Federal Parliament on Thursday, Finance Minister Bishnu Paudel said that land certificates will be distributed to 500, 000 citizens by amending the land-related laws.
He said that the government has allocated Rs 7.49 billion for the Ministry of Land Management, Cooperatives and Poverty Alleviation.
Finance Minister Paudel has also announced plans to eliminate absolute poverty.
Govt allocates Rs 57. 48 billion for Agriculture Ministry
The government has allocated Rs 57.48 billion for the Ministry of Agriculture and Livestock Development.
Presenting the budget for the fiscal year 2025/26 in the joint meeting of the Federal Parliament on Thursday, Finance Minister Bishnu Paudel said that Rs 57.48 billion has been allocated for the Ministry of Agriculture and Livestock Development.
He said that various schemes have been introduced to become self-reliant in agriculture.
Govt allocates Rs 330 million for Chaite paddy cultivation
The government is planning to promote Chaite paddy cultivation with an objective to become self-reliant in paddy production.
Presenting the budget for the fiscal year 2025/26 in the joint meeting of the Federal Parliament on Thursday, Finance Minister Bishnu Poudel said that Chaite paddy cultivation will be promoted and the budget has been allocated for the necessary seeds and irrigation for the same.
He said that Rs 330 million has been allocated for Chaite paddy cultivation.
