Nepse plunges by 39. 15 points on Wednesday
The Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) plunged by 39. 15 points to close at 1,917.22 points on Wednesday. Similarly, the sensitive index dropped by 7. 68 points to close at 376. 53 points. A total of 3,697,723 unit shares of 223 companies were traded for Rs 1. 40 billion. Meanwhile, Upper Hewakhola Hydropower Company Limited was the top gainer today with its price surging by 7. 42 percent. Likewise, Excel Development Bank Limited was the top loser with its price dropped by 7. 95 percent. At the end of the day, the total market capitalization stood at Rs 2. 75 trillion.
Gold price increases by Rs 1, 400 per tola on Wednesday
The price of gold has increased by Rs 1, 400 per tola in the domestic market on Wednesday. According to the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers’ Association, the precious yellow metal is being traded at Rs 95, 400 per tola today. It was traded at Rs 94, 000 on Tuesday. Meanwhile, tejabi gold is being traded at Rs 94, 900 per tola. Similarly, the price of silver is being traded at Rs 1, 295 per tola today.
Nepse plunges by 2. 57 points on Tuesday
The Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) plunged by 2. 57 points to close at 1,956.36 points on Tuesday. Similarly, the sensitive index dropped by 1. 12 points to close at 384. 21 points. A total of 2,773,737 unit shares of 226 companies were traded for Rs 1. 05 billion. Meanwhile, Life Insurance Cooperation (Nepal) Limited was the top gainer today with its price surging by 4. 22 percent. Likewise, Kalika Laghubitta Bittiya Sanstha Limited was the top loser with its price dropped by 5. 77 percent. At the end of the day, the total market capitalization stood at Rs 2. 81 trillion.
Gold price drops by Rs 300 per tola on Tuesday
The price of gold has dropped by Rs 300 per tola in the domestic market on Tuesday. According to the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers’ Association, the yellow bullion is being traded at Rs 94, 000 per tola today. It was traded at Rs 94, 300 per tola on Monday. Similarly, the price of silver is being traded at Rs 1, 265 per tola.
