Taskforce seeks citizens' suggestion on constitution amendment

The Secretariat of the Task Force constituted to prepare the Discussion Paper on Constitutional Amendment, 2083 has sought views from the general public.

It is for ensuring all Nepalis' participation in the constitution amendment process.

The citizens are requested to submit written suggestions in a week. 

The taskforce led by Prime Minister Balendra Shah's political advisor Asim Shah, has already garnered suggestions from various political parties through the discussions. 

As part of the process, discussions were held with constitutional experts, legal practitioners, advocates, former administrators, former diplomats, media persons and political figures.

Taskforce member secretary Leeladhar Subedi informed that discussions were being held with subject experts and stakeholders to prepare the discussion paper on constitution amendment.
