Nepal Promotes Tourism in Guangzhou Through Cultural and Business Event

The Consulate General of Nepal in Guangzhou hosted a Tourism Promotion Program under the theme “Nepal: Lifetime Experiences!” to showcase Nepal’s diverse tourism offerings and strengthen tourism ties with China.

The event brought together tourism professionals, industry leaders, and media representatives for cultural performances, networking, and wellness activities. Speaking at the program, Bharat Khanal highlighted the longstanding cultural relations between Nepal and China and invited Chinese tourists to explore Nepal’s natural beauty and heritage.

The program featured a presentation on Nepal’s tourism potential by Bimal Sharma Kandel, focusing on adventure tourism, heritage destinations, and sustainable travel initiatives. Wang Tao also expressed support for promoting Nepal as a major outbound destination for Chinese travelers.

The event included traditional Nepali cultural performances, a yoga and meditation session led by Prakash Acharya, and B2B meetings between Nepali and Chinese travel industry representatives. The program concluded with a networking dinner aimed at enhancing tourism cooperation between the two countries.
