Three members of a family died after consuming wild mushrooms in Ichchakamana Rural Municipality-1 Kulbang.

According to the Bagmati Province Police Office, the incident occurred when the family of five—Shyam Bahadur Chepang and Padma Maya Chepang along with their children—ate wild mushrooms at their home last Friday.

Shortly afterward, three members were rushed to a local health post after experiencing health problems. 

After their health worsened, they were referred to the government hospital in Bharatpur for further treatment. 

However, nine-year-old Naman Chepang died last Friday, 11-year-old Sanjay Chepang last Saturday and 13-year-old Manita Chepang died last Tuesday, police said.
