Gold price increases by Rs 1, 800 per tola on Wednesday
The price of gold has increased by Rs 1, 800 per tola in the domestic market on Wednesday.
According to the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers’ Association, the precious yellow metal is being traded at Rs 133, 000 per tola today. It was traded at Rs 131, 200 per tola on Tuesday.
Similarly, tejabi gold is being traded at Rs 132, 350 per tola. It was traded at Rs 130, 550 per tola.
Meanwhile, the price of silver has increased by Rs 64 and is being traded at Rs 1, 610 per tola today.
Nepse plunges by 1. 85 points on Tuesday
The Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) plunged by 1. 85 points to close at 2,010. 21 points on Tuesday.
The sensitive index, however, surged by 0. 53 points to close at 356. 20 points.
A total of 6,131,621-unit shares of 312 companies were traded for Rs 2. 29 billion.
Meanwhile, Gurans Laghubitta Bittiya Sanstha Limited (GLBSL) was the top gainer today with its price surging by 10. 00 percent. Likewise, Jyoti Bikash Bank Bond 2087 (JBBD87) was the top loser with its price dropped by 7. 50 percent.
At the end of the day, the total market capitalization stood at Rs 3. 18 trillion.
Gold price drops by Rs 400 per tola on Tuesday
The price of gold has dropped by Rs 400 per tola in the domestic market on Tuesday.
According to the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers’ Association, the yellow metal is being traded at Rs 131, 200 per tola today. It was traded at Rs 131, 600 per tola on Monday.
Similarly, tejabi gold is being traded at Rs 130, 550 per tola. It was traded at Rs 130, 950 per tola.
Meanwhile, the price of silver, however, has increased by Rs 10 and is being traded at Rs

Nepse plunges by 6. 26 points on Monday
The Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) plunged by 6. 26 points to close at 2,012.07 points on Monday.
Similarly, the sensitive index dropped by 0. 91 points to close at 355. 66 points.
A total of 7,290,200-unit shares of 315 companies were traded for Rs 2. 87 billion.
Meanwhile, Gurans Laghubitta Bittiya Sanstha Limited (GLBSL) and Mai Khola Hydropower Limited (MKHL) were the top gainers today with their price surging by 10. 00 percent. Likewise, River Falls Power Limited (RFPL) was the top loser as its price fell by 9. 98 percent.
At the end of the day, the total market capitalization stood at Rs 3. 19 trillion.
