The Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) plunged by 2. 73 points to close at 2,004.05 points on Thursday.

Similarly, the sensitive index dropped by 0. 34 points to close at 355. 42 points.

A total of 6,963,359-unit shares of 302 companies were traded for Rs 3. 03 billion.

Meanwhile, Manushi Laghubitta Bittiya Sanstha Limited (MLBS) was the top gainer today with its price surging by 10. 00 percent. Likewise, People's Power Limited (PPL) was the top loser with its price dropped by 9. 05 percent.

At the end of the day, the total market capitalization stood at Rs 3. 17 trillion.
