The House of Representative meeting has been adjourned for 15 minutes after opposition parties protested. As the protest began right after the meeting started, Speaker Dol Prasad Aryal gave time to UML’s parliamentary party deputy leader Padma Aryal to speak.

Deputy leader Aryal said that the Prime Minister should apologize for the violation he has caused. The topic for the protest is from the speech from the Prime Minister Balen Shah on May 17 who talked about how the Nepal-India border would be resolved through diplomatic discussions.

Opposition party lawmakers have been objecting to Prime Minister Shah’s statement and have been disrupting parliament meetings since then.
