Nepse plunges by 17. 30 points on Sunday

The Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) plunged by 17. 30 points to close at 2,018.33 points on Sunday.

Similarly, the sensitive index dropped by 2. 51 points to close at 356. 58 points.

A total of 7,957,659-unit shares of 316 companies were traded for Rs 3. 20 billion.

Meanwhile, Maya Khola Hydropower Company Limited (MKHC) was the top gainer today with its price surging by 10. 00 percent. Likewise, Sarbottam Cement Limited (SARBTM) was the top loser with its price dropped by 9. 99 percent.

At the end of the day, the total market capitalization stood at Rs 3. 20 trillion.

Gold being traded at Rs 130, 000 per tola on Sunday

The gold is being traded at Rs 130, 000 per tola in the domestic market on Sunday.

According to the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers’ Association, tejabi gold is being traded at Rs 129, 400 per tola.

Similarly, the silver is being traded at Rs 1,525 per tola today.  

 

Gold price hits new record at Rs 130, 000 per tola

The price of gold has increased by Rs 2, 100 per tola in the domestic market on Friday.

According to the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers’ Association, the precious yellow metal is being traded at Rs 130, 000 per tola today. It was traded at Rs 126, 800 per tola on Wednesday.

Similarly, tejabi gold is being traded at Rs 129, 400 per tola. It was traded at Rs 127, 300 per tola.

Meanwhile, the silver is being traded at Rs 1,525 per tola today.

Nepse surges by 4. 78 points on Thursday

The Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) gained 4.78 points to close at 2,035.64 points on Thursday.

The sensitive index, however, plunged by 0.36 points to close at 359. 09 points.

A total of 6,614,445-unit shares of 313 companies were traded for Rs 2. 65 billion.

Meanwhile, Himalaya Urja Bikas Company Limited (HURJA) was the top gainer today, with its price surging by 10. 00 percent. Likewise, Unnati Sahakarya Laghubitta Bittiya Sanstha Limited (USLB) and Dhaulagiri Laghubitta Bittiya Sanstha Limited (DLBS) were the top losers as their price fell by 10.00 percent.

At the end of the day, total market capitalization stood at Rs 3. 22 trillion.
