Nepse plunges by 24. 46 points on Monday
The Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) plunged by 24. 46 points to close at 1,938.76 points on Monday. Similarly, the sensitive index dropped by 5. 19 points to close at 379. 64 points. A total of 4,127,286 units of the shares of 240 companies were traded for Rs 1. 67 billion. Meanwhile, Sayapatri Hydropower Limited was the top gainer today with its price surging by 3. 12 percent. Likewise, Ajod Insurance Limited was the top loser with its price dropped by 7. 37 percent. At the end of the day, the total market capitalization stood at Rs 2. 78 trillion.
Gold price increases by Rs 400 per tola on Monday
The price of gold has increased by Rs 400 per tola in the domestic market on Monday. According to the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers’ Association, the precious yellow metal is being traded at Rs 99, 900 per tola today. It was traded at Rs 99, 500 on Sunday. Meanwhile, tejabi gold is being traded at Rs 99, 400 per tola. Similarly, the price of silver has increased by Rs 15 and is being traded at Rs 1, 385 per tola today.
Nepse surges by 2. 16 points on Sunday
The Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) gained 2. 16 points to close at 1, 963.22 points on Sunday. Similarly, the sensitive index surged by 1. 17 points to close at 384. 83 points. Meanwhile, a total of 3,694,084 unit shares of 243 companies were traded for Rs 1. 56 billion. Meanwhile, Dhaulagiri Laghubitta Bittiya Sanstha Limited was the top gainer today, with its price surging by 9. 98 percent. NESDO Sambridha Laghubitta Bittiya Sanstha Limited was the top loser as its price fell by 6.11 percent. At the end of the day, total market capitalization stood at Rs 2. 82 trillion.
Gold price increases by Rs 400 per tola on Sunday
The price of gold has increased by Rs 400 per tola in the domestic market on Sunday. According to the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers’ Association, the precious yellow metal is being traded at Rs 99, 500 per tola today. The yellow bullion was traded at Rs 99, 100 per tola on Friday. Meanwhile, the price of silver has increased by Rs 25 per tola and is being traded at Rs 1, 370 today.
