Gold hits new high of Rs 139, 200 per tola

The price of gold has increased by Rs1, 700 per tola in the domestic market on Tuesday.

According to the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers’ Association, the yellow metal is being traded at Rs 139, 200 per tola today. It was traded at Rs 137, 500 per tola on Monday.

Similarly, tejabi gold is being traded at Rs 138, 550 per tola. It was traded at Rs 136, 850 per tola.

Meanwhile, the silver is being traded at Rs 1,750 per tola today.

 

Nepse plunges by 16. 82 points on Monday

The Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) plunged by 16. 82 points to close at 2,006.52 points on Monday.

Similarly, the sensitive index dropped by 2. 42 points to close at 355. 78 points.

A total of 7,223,773-unit shares of 314 companies were traded for Rs 2. 79 billion.

Meanwhile, 8.5% Machhapuchchhre Debenture 2087 (MBLD87) was the top gainer today with its price surging by 7. 09 percent.

At the end of the day, the total market capitalization stood at Rs 3. 18 trillion.

 

Gold price increases by Rs 700 per tola on Monday

The price of gold has increased by Rs 700 per tola in the domestic market on Monday.

According to the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers’ Association, the yellow metal is being traded at Rs 137, 500 per tola today. It was traded at Rs 136, 800 per tola on Wednesday.

Similarly, tejabi gold is being traded at Rs 136, 850 per tola. It was traded at Rs 135, 150 per tola.

Meanwhile, the price of silver has increased by Rs 15 and is being traded at Rs 1,715 per tola today.

 

Nepse plunges by 2. 35 points on Sunday

The Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) plunged by 2. 35 points to close at 2,023.35 points on Sunday.

The sensitive index, however, surged by 0. 91 points to close at 358. 20 points.

A total of 7,795,033-unit shares of 320 companies were traded for Rs 3. 06 billion.

Meanwhile, Shrijanshil Laghubitta Bittiya Sanstha Limited (SHLB)was the top gainer today with its price surging by 10. 00 percent. Likewise, Gurans Laghubitta Bittiya Sanstha Limited (GLBSL) was the top loser as its price fell by 10. 00 percent.

At the end of the day, the total market capitalization stood at Rs 3. 20 trillion.
