Gold price drops by Rs 700 per tola on Wednesday

The price of gold has dropped by Rs 700 per tola in the domestic market on Wednesday.

According to the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers’ Association, the yellow metal is being traded at Rs 236, 300 per tola today.

The price of silver, however, has increased by Rs 45 and is being traded at Rs 2, 965 per tola.

Gold price drops by Rs 2, 900 per tola on Tuesday

The price of gold has dropped by Rs 2, 900 per tola in the domestic market on Tuesday.

According to the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers’ Association, the yellow metal is being traded at Rs 237, 000 per tola today. It was traded at Rs 239, 900 per tola on Monday.

Similarly, the silver is being traded at Rs 2, 920 per tola.

The price of gold has dropped by Rs 2, 000 per tola in the domestic market on Monday.

According to the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers’ Association, the yellow metal is being traded at Rs 239, 900 per tola today. It was traded at Rs 241, 900 per tola on Sunday.

Similarly, the price of silver has dropped by Rs 35 and is being traded at Rs 2, 980 per tola.

The price of gold has dropped by Rs 11, 600 per tola in the domestic market on Sunday.

According to the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers’ Association, the yellow metal is being traded at Rs 241, 900 per tola today.

Similarly, the silver is being traded at Rs 3, 015 per tola.

The price of gold has increased by Rs 7, 100 per tola in the domestic market on Friday.

According to the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers’ Association, the precious yellow metal is being traded at Rs 258, 000 per tola today. It was traded at Rs 250, 900 per tola on Thursday.

Similarly, the price of silver has increased by Rs 75 and is being traded at Rs 3, 350 per tola today.

Similarly, the price of silver has increased by Rs 30 and is being traded at Rs 3, 270 per tola today.

Gold prices scaled to another record high on Monday as investors revved up their safe-haven bets after U.S. President Donald Trumprenewed tariff threats against China, while expectations of U.S. interest rate cuts added to the metal's allure, Reuters reported.

Silver also jumped to an all-time peak, tracking gold's rally.

Spot gold was up 1.4% to $4,074.02 per ounce, as of 0825 GMT, after hitting a record $4,078.05/oz, according to Reuters.

Gold crosses $4,000 for first time, building on historic rally

Gold pushed through $4,000 an ounce to hit a record on Wednesday, driven by investors seeking safety from mounting economic and geopolitical uncertainty, alongside expectations of further interest rate cuts by the U.S. Federal Reserve, Reuters reported.

Spot gold was up 0.9% at $4,017.16 per ounce by 0442 GMT. U.S. gold futures for December delivery gained 0.9% to $4,040 per ounce.

Traditionally, gold is seen as a store of value during times of instability. As one of the best-performing assets of 2025, spot gold is up 53% year-to-date after rising 27% in 2024, according to Reuters.

The price of silver, however, remained constant and is being traded at Rs 2, 960 per tola.
