A total of 25,155,854-unit shares of 345 companies were traded for Rs 1. 58 billion.

Meanwhile, Upakar Laghubitta Bittiya Sanstha Limited (ULBSL), Bhujung Hydropower Limited (BJHL), Ridi Power Company Limited (RIDI) and National Hydro Power Company Limited (NHPC) were the top gainers today with its price surging by 10. 00 percent.

Similarly, 8.5% Laxmi Bank Debenture 2088 (LBLD88) was the top loser as its price fell by 3. 10 points. 

At the end of the day, the total market capitalization stood at Rs 4. 69 trillion.
