Third circuit break in Nepse, share market closed for today
The share market has been closed for the whole day today following the increase of the Nepse index by six percent.
The trading was closed after the index, which started to rise continuously after the opening of the market on Sunday, increased by six percent in less than one-and-half-hour.
There is a provision to close the market for 20 minutes if the Nepse index increases by four percent in the first hour, 40 minutes if it is increased by five percent in two hours and for the whole day if it is increased by six percent.
The shares were traded for only nine minutes today.
Nepse surges by 20. 67 points on Wednesday
The Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) gained 20.67 points to close at 1,850.33 points on Wednesday.
Similarly, the sensitive index surged by 2.51 points to close at 354. 21 points.
A total of 4,213,285-unit shares of 294 companies were traded for Rs 1. 08 billion.
Meanwhile, Buddha Bhumi Nepal Hydropower Company Limited was the top gainer today, with its price surging by 10. 00 percent. Likewise, Sayapatri Hydropower Limited was the top loser as its price fell by 8.15 percent.
At the end of the day, total market capitalization stood at Rs 2. 85 trillion.
Nepse surges by 1. 39 points on Monday
The Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) gained 1. 39 points to close at 1, 853.48 points on Monday.
Similarly, the sensitive index dropped by 0.50 points to close at 356. 54 points.
A total of 3,319,558-unit shares of 284 companies were traded for Rs 1. 09 billion.
Meanwhile, Global IME Laghubitta Bittiya Sanstha Ltd was the top gainer today, with its price surging by 9. 98 percent. Similarly, Forward Microfinance Laghubitta Bittiya Sanstha Limited and Sayapatri Hydropower Limited were the top losers as their price fell by 10.00 percent.

Meanwhile, Sayapatri Hydropower Limited was the top gainer today with its price surging by 6. 96 percent. Likewise, Mountain Energy Nepal Limited was the top loser as its price fell by 6.58 points.
