The price of gold has increased by Rs 500 per tola in the domestic market on Tuesday.

According to the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers’ Association, the precious yellow metal is being traded at Rs 159, 700 per tola today. It was traded at Rs 159, 200 per tola on Monday.

Similarly, the silver is being traded at Rs 1,915 per tola today.

The price of gold has increased by Rs 400 per tola in the domestic market to set a new record.

According to the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers' Association, the gold is being traded at Rs 159,200 per tola (11.66 grams) against Rs 158,800 on Sunday.

Similarly, the silver is being traded at Rs 1, 920 per tola.

The price of gold has increased by Rs 1, 700 per tola in the domestic market on Sunday.

According to the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers’ Association, the precious yellow metal is being traded at Rs 158, 800 per tola today. It was traded at Rs 157, 100 per tola on Friday.

Similarly, the silver is being traded at Rs 1,920 per tola today.

Gold price has set a new record in the domestic market today.

With the rise of Rs 500 per tola (11.66 grams) today, the opening day of the week, its price reached an all-time high of Rs 156,800 per tola.

According to the Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers’ Association, the price of gold was Rs 156,300 on Friday, the last trading day of the week.   

Likewise, the price of silver has increased by Rs 40 per tola to reach Rs 1,900 today.

According to the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers’ Association, the silver is being traded at Rs 1,850 per tola today. 

Police have arrested four persons with a huge cache of gold and silver from Nepalgunj.

DSP Narayan Dangi of the District Police Office, Banke said that four persons were nabbed with 34 tola of gold and 10.5 kg of silver from Nepalgunj.

They were apprehended from a jewelry shop in the town. However, the shop owner has managed to flee.

Police have not yet revealed the identities of the arrested.

Police detained them acting on a tip-off.
