The government has introduced a plan to scrap 31 agencies and restructure 18 agencies.

Presenting the budget for the fiscal year 2083/84 at a joint meeting of both houses of the Federal Parliament today, Finance Minister Dr Swarnim Wagle said that 31 agencies will be scraped, six agencies will be merged, six agencies will be transferred, and 18 agencies will be restructured.
