Two female Armed Police Force (APF) personnel successfully climbed Mount Everest on Sunday.

Assistant Constable Anita Karli and Assistant Sub-Inspector Nim Dikki Sherpa successfully scaled Mount Everest, the world's highest peak, on behalf of the APF Nepal this morning.

Karki and Sherpa created history by successfully reaching the summit of Mount Everest at 10:20 am and 11:55 am today respectively.

They are the third and fourth APF  personnel to climb Mount Everest from the APF Nepal, and this is the first successful ascent  by women.
