Nepse surges by 7. 73 points on Monday

The Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) surged by 7. 73 points to close at 2, 796. 43 points on Monday. 

Similarly, the sensitive index dropped by 1. 64 points to close at 469. 72 points.

A total of 10,928,617-unit shares of 351 companies were traded for Rs 1. 58 billion.

Meanwhile, Corporate Development Bank Limited (CORBL), Palpa Cement Industries Limited (PCIL) and Shikhar power Development Limited (SIPD) were the top gainers today with its price surging by 15. 00 percent.

Similarly, Nifra Green Energy Debenture 6% - 2088/89 (NIFRAGED) was the top loser as its price fell by 14. 01 points. 

At the end of the day, the total market capitalization stood at Rs 4. 76 trillion.
