Thirty-one persons were injured in a bus accident  at Shera in Shuklagandaki Municipality-7, Tanahun along the Prithvi Highway on Friday afternoon.

Deputy Superintendent of Police at the District Police Office, Tanahun Shrawan Kumar BK said that the bus (Ga 2 Kha 1836) was heading towards Bhairahawa from Pokhara when the accident occurred.

Chief District Officer of Tanahun Dipak Regmi said that all the injured have been taken to GP Koirala Respiratory Treatment Center at Belchautari for treatment.

Further investigation into the incident is underway, said police.
