Prof Dr Bishnuraj Tiwari has been appointed as the Vice Chancellor of Pokhara University (PU). 

Prof Dr Tiwari was serving at the School of Health and Allied Sciences, Pokhara University. 

The post of the university's Vice Chancellor was lying vacant for some weeks.  

As per the decision of the Ministry of Education, Science and Technology (from the Prime Minister and Chancellor-Level) on May 13, Prof Dr Tiwari was given the responsibility, Information Officer of Pokhara University Loknath Dhakal said.    

Information Officer Dhakal shared that the university's Vice Chancellor assumed his office on Thursday.
