The Himalayan region and parts of Koshi’s hilly areas are partly cloudy, with light rain in a few places. The rest of the country is mostly clear, according to the Weather Forecasting Division of the Department of Hydrology and Meteorology.

There is a possibility of light rain accompanied with snowfall at one or two places in the hilly and Himalayan regions of the Koshi Province, and some parts of the Himalayan regions of Bagmati and Gandaki Provinces.

This afternoon, the Tarai regions and valleys as well as basins of Madhesh, Bagmati and Gandaki Provinces, are likely to be hotter, while there is a possibility of a heat wave condition in some Tarai areas of Lumbini and Sudurpaschim Provinces.    

Tonight, there is a possibility of light rain and snowfall in the Himalayan region of the Koshi Province, the Department stated, while the rest of the country will be mainly fair.

Currently, Nepal is experiencing a partial influence of western and local winds.
