Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli met with Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi at a dinner hosted by Chinese President Xi Jinping on Sunday.

Indian Prime Minister Modi said that he was delighted to meet Nepali Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli.

Taking to X, he said, “Delighted to meet Nepali Prime Minister KP Oli in Tianjin. India’s relations with Nepal are deep-rooted and very special.”

The PM and high level Nepali delegation, including the First Lady Radhika Shakya, attended the banquet and cultural function held at the Tianjin Meijiang Convention Centre.

At the invitation of President Xi, a high level Nepali delegation led by PM Oli is currently visiting China. 

PM Oli and Chinese President Xi already held a bilateral meeting on Saturday, the first day of the five-day visit.

PM Oli is scheduled to address the SCO Summit tomorrow.
