Iran sends its top nuclear scientists into hiding

Iran has hidden more than 15 top nuclear scientists after Israel allegedly killed 14 researchers during June’s 12-day conflict, Firstpost reported.

Officials say the scientists have been moved to secure locations in Tehran or the northern coast amid fears of further assassinations. The move comes days after Iran executed former nuclear scientist Roozbeh Vadi, accused of leaking information to Israel that helped target his colleagues.

Israel claims it has a list of 100 Iranian nuclear experts and warns more may be targeted, calling the replacements “dead men walking”, according to Firstpost.
