Governor Gavin Newsom has launched CaliforniaFacts.com, a digital campaign to dispel myths about California's economy, immigration, crime, and wildfires.
"We'll respond with facts and data," Newsom stated, referring to the state's $4trn GDP and emphasizing that immigration enforcement is a federal responsibility, Xinhua reported.
The campaign includes social media interaction, a podcast, and a wildfire-focused website called California Fire Facts. Newsom claims the endeavor is intended to correct misleading narratives and safeguard the state's reputation.
