Nepse surges by 70. 18 points on Tuesday

The Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) gained 70.18 points to close at 2,310.59 points on Tuesday.

Similarly, the sensitive index surged by 12.33 points to close at 409. 51 points.

A total of 25,836,285-unit shares of 315 companies were traded for Rs 9. 13 billion.

Meanwhile, Sindhu Bikash Bank Ltd (SINDU), Barun Hydropower Co. Ltd. (BARUN), Green Development Bank Ltd. (GRDBL), Ankhu Khola Jalvidhyut Company Ltd (AKJCL) and Mandakini Hydropower Limited (MHL) were the top gainers today, with their price surging by 10. 00 percent.

Likewise, 10.5 % NEPAL INVESTMENT DEBENTURE 2082 (NIBD2082), NIBL Growth Fund (NIBLGF) and 11% L.B.B.L. Debenture 2089 (LBBLD89) were the top losers as their price fell by 10.00 percent.

At the end of the day, total market capitalization stood at Rs 3. 66 trillion.
