The Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) plunged by 15. 41 points to close at 1,969.02 points on Monday.
Similarly, the sensitive index dropped by 2. 80 points to close at 347. 95 points.
A total of 5,656,282-unit shares of 320 companies were traded for Rs 2. 05 billion.
Meanwhile, People's Power Limited (PPL) was the top gainer today with its price surging by 9. 61 percent. Likewise, Dolti Power Company Limited (DOLTI) was the top loser with its price dropped by 7. 37 percent.
At the end of the day, the total market capitalization stood at Rs 3. 12 trillion.
