Newly elected lawmaker Janata Samajbadi Party Chairman Upendra Yadav took oath of office and secrecy on Tuesday.
Speaker Deveraj Ghimire administered the oath of office and secrecy to Yadav amidst a program organized in Singha Durbar this afternoon.
After the sworn in ceremony, Yadav said that the government’s stability is necessary to take the country ahead.
He said that the Janata Samajbadi Party will send its representatives to the government soon.
Yadav was of the opinion that the country should be taken towards the path of development and prosperity by forging national consensus among the parties. He was elected as the lawmaker from Bara-2 in the by-election held on April 23.
