Rastriya Swatantra Party Chairman Rabi Lamichhane has emerged victorious in Chitwan-2. He obtained 49, 261 votes to secure a seat in the federal parliament. His closest contender Umesh Shrestha of the Nepali Congress garnered 15, 099 votes.

With the victory of Lamichhane, the Rastriya Swatantra Party has won six seats so far.
