Chelsea revel in win over Liverpool but big challenges remain
Chelsea's players and fans celebrated raucously at the final whistle of their 3-1 victory over Premier League winners Liverpool on Sunday, but tougher tests lie ahead in the Londoners' push to return to the Champions League, Reuters reported.
The Stamford Bridge supporters roared along to "One Step Beyond" - the 1980s hit by ska band Madness - and manager Enzo Maresca raced on to the pitch while his coaching staff hugged and swapped high-fives on the touchline.
"Today probably the environment was the best environment of this season with the fans, this is what we need every game, fantastic. It is so good," Maresca told reporters.
"The reason why the staff, the coaching staff, the players at the end are so happy, even the fans, is because at this stage of the season you need to win games."
An early strike by Enzo Fernandez and an own goal by Jarell Quansah put the Blues 2-0 up. Although Virgil van Dijk narrowed the lead in the 85th minute with a header from a corner, Cole Palmer wrapped the win from the penalty spot with almost the last kick of the game, according to Reuters.
Juve frustrated in 1-1 draw at Bologna
Juventus played out a tense 1-1 Serie A draw at top-four rivals Bologna on Sunday, as the visitors missed the chance to cement fourth place in the chaotic race for Champions League qualification, Reuters reported.
With leaders Napoli and Inter Milan locked in a fierce battle for the title on 77 and 74 points respectively, and Atalanta holding third with 68, attention is turning to the increasingly tense scrap for the final Champions League spot.
Juve sit fourth with 63 points, level with AS Roma and Lazio in fifth and sixth, while Bologna are seventh, one point behind, with three rounds remaining.
Khephren Thuram gave Juve a flying start after nine minutes, picking up the ball outside the box, spotting a gap in the Bologna defence and drilling a low shot that slipped beneath keeper Lukasz Skorupski.
Juve had several chances to double their lead and even put the ball in the net twice, but both efforts were ruled out for offside, according to Reuters.

PSG lose 2-1 at Strasbourg as title hangover continues
A second-string Paris St Germain side fell to a 2–1 defeat at fourth-placed Strasbourg on Saturday, giving the Ligue 1 champions another reverse in the closing stages of the campaign, Reuters reported.
With the title wrapped up and PSG's undefeated league run ended by a 3-1 loss to Nice in the last round, the only thing at stake for the visitors was preserving a 39-game unbeaten Ligue 1 away record - the most ever in Europe's top five leagues.
However, manager Luis Enrique retained only Joao Neves from the starting lineup that featured in the 1-0 Champions League win at Arsenal in the semi-final first leg in midweek, seemingly resting key players ahead of Wednesday’s return game.
For Strasbourg, the result puts them fourth, level on 57 points with Nice in third and one point behind second-placed Olympique de Marseille, with the top three spots securing Champions League football, according to Reuters.
