A person died and two others sustained injuries in a jeep accident at Arthardandakharka in Kusma Municipality-14, Parbat district last night.

Ward member Keshab Raj Paoudel (52) died in the accident after the jeep (Ga 1 Ja 5865) fell 500 meters down the road. 

The vehicle was heading to Charipani from the ward office at Arthardandakharka.

Paudel, who was  seriously injured in the accident, was rushed to Pokhara for treatment, but the doctors announced him dead on arrival. .

Two others injured in the incident were Buddhi Sagar Paudel (27) and Rajendra Paudel (46) of the same locality. 

They have been undergoing treatment at Manipur Hospital, Pokhara. 

Buddhi Sagar is the jeep driver, according to police.
