The Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) surged by 27. 85 points to close at 2, 786. 35 points on Monday. 

Similarly, the sensitive index surged by 3. 85 points to close at 475. 74 points.

A total of 14,540,022-unit shares of 342 companies were traded for Rs 1. 58 billion.

Meanwhile, Three Star Hydropower Limited (TSHL) was the top gainer today with its price surging by 9. 01 percent.

Similarly, Bungal Hydro Limited (BUNGAL) was the top loser as its price fell by 10. 32 points. 

At the end of the day, the total market capitalization stood at Rs 4. 75 trillion.
