A person has been arrested with US $43,000. The person has been identified as Sushil Gurung (37), of Gangajamuna Rural Municipality-5, Dhading.
He was arrested from the bus, B.P. 01006 Kha 9515 going from Kathmandu to Timure during a routine vehicle check at the Pasang Lhamu road section in Betrawati Bazaar, Uttargaya Rural Municipality-5, Rasuwa.
100 of US $363, 50 of US $112, 20 of US $29, 10 of US $50, five of US $3 and one of US $5 were found with Gurung. He has been sent to the Revenue Investigation Department for further investigation, said Raju Shah, Information Officer and Police Inspector of the District Police Office.
