The Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) plunged by 6. 51 points to close at 2, 724. 39 points on Tuesday. 

Similarly, the sensitive index dropped by 0. 68 points to close at 467. 37 points.

A total of 7,816,478-unit shares of 346 companies were traded for Rs 1. 55 billion.

Meanwhile, Corporate Development Bank Limited (CORBL) was the top gainer today with its price surging by 14. 26 percent.

Likewise,  City Hotel Limited (CITY) was the top loser as their price fell by 6. 84 percent.

At the end of the day, the total market capitalization stood at Rs 4. 64 trillion.
