Four persons died and 14 others were injured, seven critically when a bus carrying wedding attendants met with an accident in Salyan on Saturday. 

Those who died and injured in the incident are from the same ward.

The bus (Lumbini Pradesh 01001 Ja 0271) was heading towards Laxmipur, Kalimati Rural Municipality-1 from Thara, Kupinde Municipality-8, Bangad when the tragedy occurred at Dhaire, Kupinde Municipality-10, Bangad. 

Inspector Dev Raj Bhattarai of the District Police Office, Salyan said that the deceased have been identified as Top Bahadur Thapa (50), Thage Gharti (50), Karna Bahadur Pun (29) and Man Bahadur Thapa (50) of Thara, Kupinde Municipality-8, Bangad.

The injured are undergoing treatment at the District Hospital Salyan and Mehalkuna Hospital, Surkhet, said police.
