A person has been arrested for beating a senior citizen at a public place.
A team mobilized from District Police Range, Kathmandu arrested Prakash Chhetri (44) of Thankot, Chandragiri Municipality.
A video on Chhetri's gross mistreatment to the senior citizen at Basantapur Durbar Square had gone viral on social networking sites.
He is being investigated under indecent behaviour with five days' detention, police added.
