Former crown prince Shah hospitalized after pacemaker expired

Former crown prince Paras Shah was admitted to Norvic International Hospital in Thapathali on Thursday morning after the expiration of his pacemaker.

The device was implanted in Bangkok following a weakening of his head.

Doctors, after replacing the pacemaker,  said that his condition is stable and he is expected to be discharged within two to three days.

A pacemaker helps regulate heart rhythm when the body cannot maintain it naturally, preventing complications such as fainting or loss of consciousness.
