The election for the Speaker of the House of Representatives  has been scheduled for April 5.

During  a meeting of parliamentary parties held at Singha Durbar on Wednesday, a proposal was made to hold the Speaker's election on April 5, Rastriya Prajatantra Party lawmaker Khusbu Oli said. 

He said that deliberations are underway regarding choosing the Speaker from the Rastriya Swatantra Party.
