A woman was found dead at a hotel in Dhalkebar, Mithila Municipality-6 of Dhanusha District on Tuesday morning. 

According to Police Inspector Laxman KC of the Area Police Office, Dhalkebar, the deceased has been identified as Jenisa BK (23), a permanent resident of Miyapati, Pokhara Metropolitan City-13 and currently residing in Dhalkebar. 

Police said that the body was discovered at the Jun Tara Stop Line Hotel with foam visible around the mouth, raising suspicion about the circumstances of her death.

Following the incident, hotel owner Rampukar Sah and several staff members are reportedly absconding.

Police said that they have intensified efforts to locate and apprehend them.

Authorities have begun legal procedures at the site and are preparing to send the body to the Provincial Hospital in Janakpur for postmortem.

Further investigation into the case is underway, said police.
