The Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) is running an orientation programme for its newly-elected Members of Parliament (MPs).
The two-day residential program is beginning today in Lalitpur, the party stated.
RSP Spokesperson Manish Jha shared that parliamentary practices, policymaking, parliamentary businesses and the responsibilities of people's representatives, party policies to be applied and other related matters would be shared to the MPs.
Earlier on Monday, the party's General Secretary Kabindra Burlakoti issued a six-point directive to the party lawmakers, asking them to attend the orientation programme.
The RSP won 182 seats under the first-past-the-post (FPTP) and proportional representation (PR) system in the House of Representatives (HoR) elections conducted on March 5.
