In the recent House of Representatives elections for Rautahat Constituency 3, Ravindra Patel from the Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) has claimed victory. 

According to Election Officer Abhdesh Prasad Kushwaha, Patel secured 27,318 votes. 

Gobinda Chaudhary of the Janata Samajbadi Party followed with 11,954 votes. 

Kundan Kushwaha from the CPN (UML) received 6,605 votes.

 Out of a total of 108,699 votes in the constituency, 76,769 were cast.
