RSP’s Patel wins in Rautahat-3

Rabindra Patel of the RSP has won in Rautahat constituency number 3. He won with a double margin of 27,318 votes.

Govinda Chaudhary of the Janata Samajwadi Party (JSP) secured the second position with 12,954 votes. While Patel won with a huge margin of 15,364 votes, AJP President and former minister Prabhu Sah, who has won the elections for five consecutive terms, came third with 9,890 votes. UML's Kundan Kushwaha came fourth with 6,695 votes.

In this constituency, Congress candidate Ramkripal Yadav secured 6,530 votes while Nepali Communist Party's Poonam Yadav secured 3,881 votes.
