Shambhu Prasad Dhakal of the RSP has won from Jhapa constituency number 4 by a wide margin of 31,645 votes.

Dhakal received 43,631 votes while Lal Prasad Sangha Limbu of the UML, received 11,986 votes.

Similarly, Deukumar Thebe of the Nepali Congress, received 9,434 votes. Amrita Devi Rai of the Shram Sanskriti Party, received 7,161 votes, and Bhakti Prasad Sitaula of the RPP, received 2,080 votes.
