The Shram Sanskriti Party has opened its account in the 2082 House of Representatives election. The party secured its first victory with Aren Rai winning in Khotang.

Rai received 16,612 votes in the election. His win marks the party’s first seat in the House of Representatives.

Dev Bikram Rai of the CPN-UML got 12,714 votes.

Birkaji Rai of the Nepali Congress got 11,957 votes, while Hari Roka of the Nepali Communist Party got 9,443 votes and Rudra Giri of the National Independent Party (NISP) got 5,704 votes.
