Nepali Congress Party candidate Dr. Mohammad Firdos Alam has won the election to the House of Representatives from Rautahat Constituency No. 2 with 29,528 votes.
Alam won with a margin of 11,086 votes with Kiran Kumar Sah of the Nepali Communist Party receiving 18,442 votes. Similarly, Sheikh Sagir of the RSP received 9,325 votes.
