Ganesh Karki, the candidate of RSP has won in the House of Representatives Constituency No. 3 of Morang with 36,924 votes. Karki defeated his nearest rival Sunil Kumar Sharma of the Nepali Congress by a margin of more than 12,000 votes.
Sharma got 24,354 votes. Amir Magar of the Shram Sanskriti Party got 16,509 votes, Iran Kumar Rai of the CPN-UML got 7,752 votes and Dr. Deuman Sambahangphe of the CPN-UML got 1,259 votes.
