Bikram Khanal of RSP has been elected in Bardaghat Susta West Constituency No. 1, Nawalparasi. Khanal defeated Binod Kumar Chaudhary of the Nepali Congress by a margin of about 35,000 votes.
Khanal received 45,241 votes and Chaudhary 9,502 votes. Ram Prasad Pandey of the UML received 7,956 votes, Hryayesh Tripathi of the Janata Samajwadi Party Nepal received 7,832 votes, and Navneet Kumar Mishra of the RPP received 1,593 votes.
