Vote counting for the House of Representatives elections is underway across the country.
According to the Election Commission, results from 83 different constituencies have been so far made public.
The Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) has won 71 seats, Nepali Congress 10, CPN-UML three, Nepali Communist Party (NCP) two, and the Rastriya Prajatantra Party (RPP) and an independent candidate one each.
Among the elected candidates, most of the RSP candidates have won the election by a big margin.
Dr Lekhjung Thapa, elected from Rupandehi 3, won the election by a margin of 50,379 votes. He received 58,814 votes, while his nearest contender Nepali Congress candidate Sushil Gurung, received 8,435 votes.
Likewise, RSP candidate Sulabh Kharel won the election From Rupandehi Constituency 2 by 43,689 vote margin. Kharel received 56,550 votes, while his nearest rival Bishnu Prasad Paudel, received 12,861 votes.
From Morang 6, RSP candidate Rubina Acharya has won with 55,513 votes.
In the constituency, Dr Shekhar Koirala of the Nepali Congress was limited to second place with 12,850 votes.
Santosh Rajbamshi, a candidate from Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) from Morang-4, won the election with 40,833 votes. His arch rival Gururaj Ghimire of the Nepali Congress received only 12,818 votes.
Manish Jha of RSP won the HoR election with 43,988 votes from Dhanusha-3.
His nearest rival Bimalendra Nidhi of the Nepali Congress received 16,652 votes.
Pramod Kumar Mahato of RSP won with 34,636 votes from Mahottari-1. His close contender Girirajmani Pokhrel of the Nepali Communist Party received 12, 624 votes.
