Badan Kumar Bhandari of Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) has won the election to the House of Representatives (HoR) from Kavre constituency no. 2 with a wide margin of 35,476 votes. 

According to Chief Returning Officer Prem Prasad Neupane, Bhandari secured 53,344 votes.   

Bhandari's nearest rival Madhu Prasad Acharya got 17,868 votes, while CPN-UML's candidate Ashok Kumar Byanju secured 13,940 votes. 

Likewise, candidate of Nepali Communist Party Basundhara Humagain managed 8,107 votes in the vote counts completed today.
