In the ongoing vote count under the proportional representation (PR) system for the House of Representatives elections, the Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) is leading in the number of votes secured.
A total of 67, 788 votes have been counted as of 10 this morning, and the RSP has secured 38,311 votes, according to the Election Commission.
Similarly, the Nepali Congress received 11,456 votes, the CPN-UML 6,047, the Rastriya Prajatantra Party 2,818, the Nepali Communist Party 2,424, the Shram Sanskriti Party 1,476, the Rastriya Parivartan Party 871, the Nepal Workers and Peasants Party 258, the Nepal Janata Sanrakshan Party 139, and the Pragatisheel Lokatantrik Party 1,236 votes under the PR system.
The counting of the PR votes is underway.
Parties are competing for 110 seats in the proportional category.
